Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of tessaleong.com and any services provided by Tessa Leong, a freelance creative based in Singapore. By using this website or engaging my services, you agree to these terms.

Services

I offer freelance photography, videography and design services. The scope, deliverables, timeline and fees for any project will be agreed upon in writing before work begins. A project is considered confirmed once a written agreement or deposit has been received.

Payment

Payment terms will be outlined in the project agreement. Unless otherwise agreed:

• A deposit may be required to secure a booking or start date
• Final payment is due upon delivery of final files
• Late payments may result in a delay in delivering final files

Intellectual property & usage rights

All creative work produced by Tessa Leong remains my intellectual property until full payment has been received. Upon receipt of full payment, usage rights for the agreed deliverables are transferred to the client as outlined in the project agreement.

I retain the right to display any work completed in my portfolio, on this website, and on social media, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cancellations & rescheduling

Cancellations and rescheduling requests should be made as soon as possible. The following applies unless otherwise agreed:

• Deposits are non-refundable once a booking is confirmed
• Rescheduling requests made with reasonable notice will be accommodated where possible
• Cancellations made close to the shoot date may incur additional charges to cover preparation costs

Delivery of files

Final files will be delivered within the timeframe agreed in the project brief. Delivery timelines may vary depending on the scope of the project. I will communicate any delays as soon as possible.

Files are typically delivered via a shared online folder or transfer service. I am not responsible for files once they have been delivered and accepted by the client.

Limitation of liability

I take every reasonable precaution to deliver high quality work. However, I cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond my control including equipment failure, illness, accidents, or unforeseen events. In such cases, I will make every effort to find an appropriate solution.

My total liability in any circumstance is limited to the fees paid for the project in question.

Website use

All content on tessaleong.com including images, videos, text and design is the property of Tessa Leong and may not be reproduced, distributed or used without prior written permission.

I reserve the right to update or remove content from this website at any time without notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these terms or from the provision of services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of this website constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
