A little more about me.
I’m Tessa Leong, a recent Film, Sound & Video graduate from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a passion for visual storytelling in all forms. Whether I’m behind the camera, writing a script or on the editing software, I approach each project with the same intention: to make something personal and real that will touch hearts.
My filmmaking journey started with a Youtube channel in 2022, where I uploaded vlogs of my time in secondary school. Since then, I joined the School of Film & Media Studies and began making short films and documentaries. In 2024, I got my first camera, Sony A7IV, and have since started event photography/videography and dabbled in wedding photography as well as travel photography.
I’ve also created content and trailers for CCA events while heading the Photography & Videography team in Scene52, as well as led the school’s social media team. In 2026, I completed a one-year internship at mm2 Entertainment where I worked on the production team and marketing team, and worked on “Dreamstall”, a feature film directed by Annette Lee.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with brands like ORTV Media, Mission Medical Clinic and Nihon Travel Guide. I’m always looking for the next project that pushes me creatively and am open to whatever comes my way! If you have an idea, I’ll love to hear it.
- Worked on the Production team and Marketing team for multiple feature films, including Follow Aunty La, Liang Popo VS Ah Beng and one in development under the Y2Y 1-year programme.
- Additionally, worked on the subtitles team and as the Director’s Assistant for Dreamstall, Annette Lee’s Debut Film.
- In-charge of lining up content buckets every month and supervising ongoing projects.
- Shot and edited event recap videos and interviews, collaborating with various groups for event coverage.
- Designed posters using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Shot and directed trailer and teaser videos and highlight reels for CCA events.
- Supervised projects from idea brainstorming to post-production and delivery.
- Event photography and worked with the Publicity team to shoot social media coverage for CCA events.
- Storyboarded, shot, directed and edited a music video for Heavenly Melody 天鞻合唱團.
